An independent inspection marketplace for Nigeria
Don't take their word for it. We'll go and check.
A contractor, a supplier, a property, a product. Whatever you need verified in Nigeria, we send an independent inspector to stand on the spot, photograph what is really there, and send you a report with GPS and timestamps. You decide on facts, not promises. Wherever you are, in Nigeria or abroad, you never have to be at the site yourself.
You name your offer. Inspectors near you accept or counter, and you choose who represents you. How pricing works
We work across Nigeria, wherever we have an active inspector. You can check coverage for your state when you book.
- Independent inspectors with no link to the party you are checking
- GPS and timestamps prove they were on-site, on the day
- You review and accept every report. Nothing is final until you say so
Built for people with something real on the line
Our clients are people and companies making decisions in Nigeria, some based here, some abroad, and some just in another state. The common thread: a decision worth getting right, and no easy way to be there in person.
For individuals
There is a house going up, a contractor to keep honest, or a deal to close, and you can't be at the site yourself, whether you are abroad or in another part of Nigeria. WhatsApp photos can be staged, reused, or months old. You need someone independent to go, look, and document it properly.
- Confirm a building milestone before you release the next payment
- Check a property's condition before you buy or rent
- Keep independent eyes on any project or person you are funding
For businesses
You are sourcing from, buying from, or partnering with a Nigerian company. Before capital leaves your account, you want documented proof of what you are actually dealing with.
- Confirm a supplier's premises exist and can produce at the claimed scale
- Verify a partner's identity, track record, and place of business
- Inspect goods or property before you pay or ship
How Vicinage works
Every inspection runs the same documented path, whether it is a single product check or one milestone on a build. You can see where things stand at every step.

Submit your request online: the location, what you need verified, your deadline, and your offer. Matching inspectors respond, usually within hours, accepting or countering your price.
Choose your inspector
Qualified inspectors near the site take up your job. You see each one's profile, specialism, city, and rating, you can message them about your scope, then you pick the person who will represent you. You choose from the inspectors available for your job. We do not assign.
Independent site visit
Your inspector visits on the agreed date, with no tip-off to the party being checked. GPS confirms they were physically on-site, and every photo is timestamped so it cannot be back-dated.
A report, and the final word is yours
You get a structured PDF: geotagged photos, observations against your scope, the inspector's findings, and the inspector's signed declaration. Review it and accept, or send it back for amendment. Nothing is marked complete until you are satisfied, and our team steps in if anything is in dispute.
What we inspect
Pick what you need verified and name your offer. Inspectors near you accept or counter, and you choose who represents you. Every job gets the same GPS-tagged, photo-documented evidence and a structured report.

What the report actually showed
Most people come to us because something did not add up. Here is what changed once someone went and looked.
“I had been sending money for a year and getting photos that all looked the same. Vicinage visited unannounced and showed the build was two floors behind. That report stopped me releasing another payment.”
Adaeze O.
London
“We needed to check a supplier before signing a large contract. The visit confirmed the factory was real but flagged equipment that did not match the spec sheet. We renegotiated before paying.”
Import director
Germany
“I was about to pay a Lagos vendor for a generator he swore was brand new. The inspector photographed the serial plates and the rust under the housing. It was refurbished. I kept my deposit and walked.”
Tunde A.

You choose your inspector, not an algorithm
Every inspector is vetted before they can take a single job. When inspectors take up your request, you see their profile, city, and rating up front, and you can chat about your scope before you commit. You pick who represents you, from the qualified inspectors available for your job.

“Clients need certainty, not reassurance. I document everything so there's no room for dispute after the visit.”

Supplier and business verification
“I've verified over 80 suppliers across FCT. My job is to find the gap between the sales pitch and the reality.”

“Before you pay or ship, I confirm the goods exist, match the spec, and are in the condition promised. Buyers lose the most when they trust photos instead of an on-site check.”
